FanDuel sportsbook is currently the largest sportsbook in the US with a near 50% market share.
FanDuel sportsbook is now legally available in the following US States:
The downloadable app gives you instant, on the go access to place a bet anywhere where FanDuel has an existing market.
However, in order to collect a winning wager, you must be in the state where the bet was placed. All you need is a laptop, computer, or smartphone with GPS accessibility and internet capabilities.
Overall, I grade the FanDuel sportsbook a B+.
As you will see below, the sign-up bonus, promotions, user experience, and vast amount of sports available to wager on make this sportsbook one of the top available. However, when compared to others, it falls a bit short.
|FanDuel Sportsbook Offer||Use our exclusive link|
|FanDuel Sportsbook Risk-Free Bet||$500|
|Terms And Conditions Available?||Yes|
|FanDuel Sportsbook: Available States||New Jersey, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania and West Virginia|
|Compatible With Apple + Android Devices?||Yes|
|Last Tested||September 2020|
I would rank this offer third when compared to the other competitors in the market:
|FanDuel||Up to $500 free|
|DraftKings||Up to $1,025 free|
|FoxBet||Up to $1,000 free|
|BetRivers||Up to $250 free|
As you can see from the table above, DraftKings and FoxBet both have initial promotions that are greater in value when compared to FanDuel. They include a bonus on a player’s first deposit of up to $500. DraftKings also has a $25 free promotion in which no deposit is needed. BetRivers.com has a similar deposit bonus but with a smaller max of $250.
Along with the initial deposit bonus, FanDuel Sportsbook also offers some incredible promotions periodically.
They include options like:
Inflated odds on a particular side or total in an event gives players an advantage over the book. There is usually a betting limit associated with these, but they present incredible value to the bettor.
In the example below, FanDuel was offering to increase the Philadelphia 76ers spread vs. the Milwaukee Bucks by one point for every 1,000 bets placed. With an NBA spread getting that large it is essentially free money (an earlier NCAAB promotion boosted the spread all the way up to one side being +101.5)!
It doesn’t get much easier than that.
Another promotion FanDuel Sportsbooks offers is insurance, which comes in a few different forms. Parlay insurance, for example, goes into effect when a player places a parlay wager consisting of five or more legs.
A parlay is a combination of bets placed together that must all win for the wager to be won. If one of the bets (legs) loses, the entire wager loses. The player gets a max $25 refund per each eligible wager (four eligible wagers per sportsbook account holder per day) in the case of loss.
However, if four of the five legs in your parlay win, you get all your money back. Each individual leg of the parlay must have odds greater than or equal to -200.
Each day, players get a site credit bonus equal to 10 percent of daily net losses or 10 percent of daily net winnings up to $50.
This feature allows you to settle a wager for a certain value before the event you have bet on has finished. Your bet is not always eligible for early cash out. However, it is a great feature for someone who isn’t as confident in their bet as they were initially. It’s also a way to take the offered money and guarantee a profit.
A great feature, especially for the higher limit players.
FanDuel Sportsbook features bets on all major US sports and definitely backs up its slogan “More Ways to Win” with a multitude of options to cash in.
Along with betting the traditional sides and totals for a particular game, you can select the game or event you want to wager on and open up a new screen with an entire list of additional items. Here you can bet on selections such as player props, game props, in-game parlays, and so much more.
If there is something you are looking to bet on, you can find it at FanDuel Sportsbook.
FanDuel Sportsbook offers 24/7 support via email and live chat. The phone number isn’t listed on the FanDuel app, but it is 877-689-0662.
In the times where I personally had to call FanDuel support, I found myself on hold for long durations, sometimes even being hung up on in the process. The live chat and email are good options, but depending on your inquiry, these options may not be the most efficient.
While using this sportsbook via the iOS app, I found myself having to login multiple times in order for the system to register my account. This was annoying and troublesome, especially when trying to place a last-minute wager.
One thing to watch out for when depositing money on FanDuel Sportsbook is that you will not be able to withdraw using ACH (eCheck), prepaid card, or PayPal unless you have deposited using that method in the past.
