PointsBet is making big moves in the world of online sports betting, upping their stakes as a premier gaming operator providing gambling around the globe. In the NBCUniversal deal, PointsBet will be partnering with NBC Sports as the official sports betting partner as part of a multi-year contract that includes plenty of benefits for both parties. PointsBet will be provided with multi-platform marketing and media opportunities all year, thanks to NBC’s impressive collection of sporting events. Other features of the agreement include:
- PointsBet is now the exclusive odds, props, and trends provider for GOLF Channel and NBCSN, among others.
- Full Spanish-language integration and functionality for Hispanic sports coverage and broadcasts.
- Exclusive odds integrations and multi-platform integrations with top brands like Rotoworld, GolfNow, and GolfPass, and gameday integrations with eight of NBC’s regional sports networks.
- PointsBet is now an official partner of NBC’s Sports Predictor app, which offers free-to-play games in multiple sports and will now feature PointsBet content, as well.

In the deal with the CU Athletics Department, PointsBet has become one of the few to have an exclusive partnership with a major NCAA Division-I program. This is a five-year sponsorship deal specifically between the Colorado Buffaloes and PointsBet, which is providing a financial boost for the university’s athletics program in a time when It’s needed more than ever. It’s expected that PointsBet will be launching its Colorado sports betting app within the next few months.
Part of the deal includes support for the Scripps Leadership and Career Development Program, which is designed to help student-athletes prepare for life and success after sports. PointsBet is seen as a leader in the industry, known for its responsible gaming and other efforts to expand its offerings legally throughout the country and the world. Now, CU is taking advantage of that relationship to help build awareness and education for responsible gaming, as well as for education on sports betting.
