Do you love Ocean’s Eleven, James Bond movies, and anything else to do with high-stakes action? I think we all do. Even if it may be a bit unrealistic, there’s nothing quite like watching a highly skilled spy or thief work tirelessly to infiltrate an iron-clad organization. Many of us have lofty dreams of being spies or safe crackers, but most of us prefer a good slot game instead of putting our necks on the line.
If you’re looking for a little taste of life in the fast lane, check out Betsoft’s Heist slot game. Step into the shoes of a master of bank heists and see if you can come away with the ultimate prize. But be careful, Detective Albert Kowalski is always on the hunt for you.
This game has 5 reels, 3 rows and 30 paylines. You can change the number of active paylines using the black button labelled “Select Lines.” The button next to that one allows you to change your bet per line to a value between 1 and 5. There is also a max bet button and an autoplay button (hidden in the top-left corner) to make things a bit easier on you.
Unlike some of Betsoft’s other slot games, there is no Double Up feature in Heist.
The top two symbols in Heist pay out for matches of 2 or more while the rest require matches of 3. In ascending order of value, the symbols are the clock, keypad, vault blueprint, gun, bag of cash, bank note, diamonds, Detective Kowalski, and Neil Quailand (the mastermind). The largest prize you can win from these symbols is 2,500x your bet per line for a total of 12,500.
If you land 3 or more glass cutter symbols on a payline, you’ll trigger the Glass Cutter feature. Select one of three glass cutters to reveal a prize—free spins, a bonus win, or access to the bonus round.
When the C4 symbol lands on the 2nd row of the middle reel, it will explode and reveal a 2x wild reel. Any wins created by this wild reel will pay 2x the normal prize. Sometimes the wild reel will lock and stay on screen for the next spin.
Landing 3 or more drill scatter symbols gives you a nice payout. You’ll win 750 for 3 scatters, 1,500 for 4 scatters, and 3,750 for 5 scatters.
3 or more vault symbols on a payline will trigger the bonus feature. In this game, you choose your own fate while cracking a safe. If you choose the right method, you can slip in and out with the loot before Detective Kowalski sees you.
Like most good slot games, you can try Heist out for free at many different online casinos. Simply find an instant-play version of the game and get started. You’ll only have to create an account if you want to play for cash.
Heist is even available for mobile devices which is surprising considering its stunning design. While some online casinos may not offer a mobile-compatible version of Heist, there are plenty that do. Just keep trying links until you find one that works for you.
The first thing you’ll notice when you start Heist is the beautiful design. The game starts with a 3D intro featuring rivals Neil Quailand and Detective Kowalski and really paints a picture. This is a really cool addition because most slot games don’t go as far as to have a somewhat-intricate back story to explain the theme of the game. If you love a nice design and story, you’ll love this game.
Heist has nice features, as well. There’s a bonus game, a chance to win free spins, pick and reveal prizes, and an exploding 2x wild reel feature. All of these features mean you’ll get plenty of breaks from spinning.
Heist isn’t perfect; a free spins feature and double up button would have been nice additions. But at the end of the day, this is a really well-designed slot game that’s packed full of features, and that’s always a win for slot players.
