As you may have expected from the title of this MicroGaming designed slot, this game is all about money. The slot revolves around four very rich characters. Bill Bullion, Dame von Deeds, Sir Sterling and Bette Boodle are the lucky four and these represent the highest paying symbols in the game.
The highlight of this slot is the bonus feature, where you’ll pick one of the four characters. Each leads to a pick me round, where the rewards can be huge. Massive wins will head your way when landing five in a row of any of the leading symbols too.
Cashville is a five-reel slot with a maximum of 20 win-lines. There are eight standard symbols in the game and it is clear that the four characters are where the real money is at. If you land five in a row of any of the four characters you’ll win a massive 10,000 coins. Landing four in a row of these symbols will pay between 200 and 120 coins, so there is much more of a premium for five in a row at this game in comparison to most others. This makes for something of a high variance game – these huge wins won’t come along that often, but when they do, look out!
The additional standard symbols in the game are four different coloured wads of cash. These are accompanied by a cigar, a pendant, silver coins and a pearl necklace. The top prizes for these symbols range between 180 and 90 coins.
The wild symbol is a very interesting one in Cashville. In most games, a wild will substitute for any other standard symbol, but here it will only substitute for the four cash based symbols. But there is a massive bonus. If you manage to land five wilds in a row you’ll win an incredible 50,000 coins.
As well as the standard symbols, you’ll also find a straightforward scatter symbol. This shows the letter ‘S’ in gold against a green background. Wins with this symbol are multiplied by your total stake for each spin. Land three anywhere on the reels and you’ll win 8x your total stake. Land 4 or 5 and you’ll pick up 30x and 300x respectively.
The final symbol in the game is the bonus one, which shows the word ‘bonus’ within a silver and purple coin. To enter the feature, you’ll need to land 3, 4 or 5 of these symbols anywhere on the reels. You’ll now be taken to a screen showing full length images of the four characters – Bill Bullion, Dame von Deeds, Sir Sterling and Bette Boodle from left to right. After picking one you’ll be taken to their respective bonus rounds.
Bill Bullion – Bill looks very pleased with himself as he stands to the right of six oil wells. Pick one to reveal a prize.
Dame von Deeds – Here, Dame von Deeds is joined by her cat and you’ll pick from a series of eight deeds.
Sir Sterling – Here, Sir Sterling stands to the left of eight bank vaults and you’ll choose one.
Bette Boodle – Bette sits on a long sofa and you’ll pick from five paintings of dogs above her on the wall.
The top prize in the bonus feature is 60,000 coins and like any good pick me round, you’ll also see the prizes you didn’t win.
Cashville is a bold looking slot where the reels take centre stage. These are backed in white and all the symbols are designed in a cartoon style. MicroGaming must be commended with coming up with the four humorous characters, although I’m not sure you’ll like any of the four!
The game is more than a few years old and it does show at times in the design, as the only animation is with the wild symbol. Overall, the visuals do have some appeal. Especially if you like big and bold. The accompanying sound is a piano playing alongside the general hubbub of a casino. This is joined by the standard spinning and whirring of the reels.
Cashville is an enjoyable and slightly unique slot from MicroGaming. What sets this game apart are the pay outs at the top end. Land five in a row of the wild or any of the four characters and you’ll trigger a big win. The bonus feature is a good one too, with nice visuals and the chance to win big from 4 different games.
