Oasis Poker Casino Game

A fun poker variant is the Oasis Poker. This game is fairly similar to Caribbean Stud. You will be dealt 5 cards facing up, and the dealer will be dealt 4 cards facing down with one card facing down. The goal of this game is to create the highest winning hand possible from your cards, and beat the dealer. The difference between Oasis Poker and Caribbean Stud is that you are given an option to exchange cards that you don’t like in your hand for a cost. Take a look at this game to figure out the details behind the gameplay.

There is only one open position available on Oasis Poker, so you can only bet on one hand at a time. The minimum starting ante bet is 0.50 and the maximum ante bet allowed is 100. If you decide to call the hand, the call bet will need to be double the ante bet.

Game Rules

Oasis Poker is played with a single deck with 52 cards. The deck is shuffled after every round. Both you and the dealer will be dealt 5 cards each, and you’ll both strive to create the largest winning hand possible. If you win, you will earn a payout based on the type of hand you’ve created. If you lose, you lose the entire wager. The winning hands are valued in same was as in standard poker. The dealer qualifies if their hand has an Ace/King or higher. If the dealer fails to qualify, you will be paid even money for your ante bet, and nothing for the call bet. If both you and the dealer’s hands are identical, there will be a push.

The most interesting part about this game is that you can exchange the cards you don’t like and draw new ones. To do this, you’ll have to pay a fee. The exchange fee is based on the amount of cards that need to be exchanged. You can expect an exchange fee:

  • equal to the ante bet if you are exchanging just one card
  • 2 times the ante bet if you are exchanging 2 or 4 cards
  • 3 times the ante bet if you are exchanging 3 cards
  • equal to the ante bet and the raise bet if you are exchanging all 5 cards

You can choose to exchange the cards, fold or call. If you call, you will need to set down a call bet, which is double the ante bet. The draw cost cannot be won back. You can only make the exchange once. After the exchange, you can decide whether you would like to call or fold your hand.

The Payouts

Depending on the rarity of the hand that has been created, you will be offered a different payout. If your hand contains a pair or is just simply larger than the dealers, you will get even money on both the ante bet and the call bet. The other payouts include:

  • 100 to 1 for a Royal Flush
  • 50 to 1 for a Straight Flush
  • 20 to 1 for a Four of a Kind
  • 7 to 1 for a Full House
  • 5 to 1 for a Flush
  • 4 to 1 for a Straight
  • 3 to 1 for a Three of a Kind
  • 2 to 1 for Two Pairs
